Re-buildable cores, when requested, should accompany your order. If not, a core charge will be charged. We are sometimes out of usable cores so we may require yours in advance to process the order. Cores should be sent prepaid to us, and must be in a re-buildable state.

Stay Cool: Water-Free Intake Halves for Warmer Climates
Intake halves without the water pipes available upon request. The water HEATS the intake charge. Good in the Montana winter, bad year round in LA! Don’t run water, unless your Z is cold blooded to distraction.

Check Your 240Z Carbs: Dome Screws and Float Chamber Drain Plugs Matter
240Z pilots – Look at how many screws are holding down the dome. This is how we tell what carb you have.

Racers–our shafts are normally undersized. If you race ITS or EP, ask for “Blue Shafts” (RollerShafts that are standard diameter, and SCCA legal)

Note: 1600 cc engines used a 1 3/4″ mouth HS6, and a 5 1/2″ long piston spring with the KD needle
If you bored your 1.6 out to 2.0 liters, you should be using a 2L setup. This kit is the shorter 4″ 2.0L spring and SM needles. Try stock, then switch to this. Send back what you don’t need for a refund within 45 days. Only offered to customers buying new carbs from us.
Before you call to order new carbs I need to know two things:
1. How many bolts hold your air cleaner to the carb (2 or 3 per carb).
2. Do you have a vacuum advance distributor?
If you are ordering a Volvo intake, does it have the BCDD device?
That’s a thing that screws into the intake above the carbs in the center.
We are collecting 2″ Jag carbs. Please send them in for $200.00 each cash/credit towards ZT product.
We are NOT collecting HS6 cores at this time.
As we collect HS2-HS8 cores, we will enter these markets and offer highly polished high performance units with RollerShafts
